Robot Sex Studies
David Levy’s book, Love and Sex with Robots: The Evolution of Human-Robot Relationships, has created a stir since it was recently published. His take-away point is that within 5-10 years we will have the ability to purchase our own robot with which we will be able to have not only sex, but a relationship as well. Levy’s book has generated article upon article about the upcoming introduction of robot sex into society. I’ve read most of them, but few have been as interesting as the CymberpunkReview’s “Robot Sex Studies: Cyberpunked Living is On Its Way!” article that I just stumbled upon today. I highly recommend you read it if you are interested in this subject (warning: it’s a bit R-rated).
